The Antero / Little Browns / Colorado Trail loop. This route starts and finishes at Aid 1 of the Vapor Trail. You’ll get to preview parts of the Vapor Trail 125 course, but you’ll also get in some time at high altitude, hike-a-bike, steep climbing, and technical singletrack. This ride dishes out a big descending reward for all the climbing on the front half. Pack an extra lung, this one tops out at 13,100 ft

Mile for mile, this route is a 30-mile mini version of the Vapor Trail 125. It’s raw rugged and has some of the most amazing trails in Chaffee and Gunnison counties. You’ll once again get to preview parts of the Vapor Trail 125 course, get in some time at high altitude, hike-a-bike, steep climbing, and technical singletrack. This ride dishes out big singletrack rewards for the work you’ll put in. Miles 5-8.5 will be the brunt of your hike-a-bike, but with jaw-dropping views to distract you.

This loop starts and finishes at the Colorado Trail trailhead just below the Chalk Cliffs west of Mt Princeton Resort. Similar to our other routes, this one also dishes out time at high-altitude, rugged hike-a-bike sections, steep climbs, flowing pristine singletrack, and a lengthy rowwwwwdy descent that will have you wondering if your suspension is locked out! This loop finishes on Segment 13 of the Colorado Trail, which starts steep, loose, and aggressive, then settles into a delightful trip to flow-town. You’ll finish with a smile on your face....GUARANTEED!

This route is the shortest in our training series, but short doesn’t mean easy. You’ll once again get to experience parts of the VT125 course. Put your tires and hike-a-bike shoes on some of the best singletrack the Continental Divide Trail offers between the Canadian and Mexican borders. Start this route early to ensure parking and beat weekend motorized traffic and afternoon storms.
